Cincinnati Art Song Initiative and composer John Musto and soprano Amy Burton will be in residency at Ithaca College November 4-8. Ivy Walz will perform with CSI artists in residency on this concert of art song by John Musto.
Ivy Walz is a featured artist on this recital collaborating with pianist Dmitri Novgorodsky on art songs by Rachmaninov. This recital takes place at Ithaca College School of Music, Hockett Recital Hall.

Save Monday August 26 for the NYS FAIR - scenes from the opera PUSHED ASIDE: RECLAIMING GAGE will be performed in the Empire Theater, Art & Home Center, at 3pm during Equality Day. This is one of those moments of a lifetime in which we can make an impact on history.
How? By keeping performances of the opera front and center during the 2020 Centenary of Women’s Suffrage so it joins the canon of operas about famous people, and in this case a WOMAN and Central New York native.
Ivy Walz, Zach Sweet and Pej Reitz will perform chamber works for voice, cello and piano. Come and enjoy a beautiful afternoon of fabulous music, delicious food and a gorgeous Finger Lakes view.
Ivy will perform a piece titled Doves of Damascus , a setting by Toby Young of a text written by a young Syrian refugee with the GrassRoots Orchestra led by Cayenna Ponchione-Bailey.
